Current project that i can probably post about:
1: the walls of the staircase;
2: the first real colour suggestions for the painting parts;
3: what i’m estimating the wall will actually look like.(it’s a relatively dim staircase)

Some of the brushes i made for drawing uses in firealpaca!! I’m super proud of these even thought they’re pretty simple. It was fun making them and getting to use them afterwards.
So, to install in Fpaca: save the .png images in any folder and when you open firealpaca add them via ‘add brush(Bitmap)’ button in the brushes dialogue. Then squiggle around with the sliders in the new window after you’ve selected the bitmap. You can make these in any way you want but i’ve found that the best use for the first two(eraserface and tritooth) is as inking brushes. They have this slight tilt that i really like that isn’t quite like oval tilt-brushes or the default round brush that comes with most art-software… good for writing and thick lines imo.

Here’s how you can make the settings for a smooth inking brush(in general, for any of your own brushes as well) if you want to give it texture you can check the rotate or random rotate boxes accordingly.

So i’ve been dabbling with trying to make my own font for a while and decided to try out this one…. if only just to see the preview(YourFonts is pay-for-service) The one thing that i miss the most is the letter Õõ! and no sites i’ve found so far had special characters in their template unless i payed for them. But i think i can probably live with either handlettering or using free fonts that do have õ in it for now.Bonus:kinda messed up but ehh, kind of like the over-all look.
